Congratulations to Unilever on their recent sale of Conimex to Paulig. OC&C provided vendor due diligence to Unilever to support this deal.

Established in 1929, Unilever is a global consumer goods company headquartered in London, United Kingdom, and Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Paulig, an international food and beverage company, is acquiring Conimex, a Dutch leader in the meal maker, prawn crackers, soups, sauces and seasonings space. Conimex’s portfolio of Asian cuisine products aligns with Paulig’s World Foods portfolio, and will support Paulig’s growth ambitions in the Netherlands.

Conimex was founded in 1932, and has since expanded with a current product line of over 100 items – and has achieved excellent brand recognition in the Netherlands, with 87% consumer awareness.
