OC&C advises KEP (Arcadia Portfolio) on horse riding protection deal

We’re pleased to congratulate KEP (Arcadia Portfolio) on agreeing to acquire Veredus, active in horse riding protection.

Illimity will provide financing to the deal. OC&C Strategy provided buy-side commercial support.

KEP Italia is a leader in equestrian helmet manufacturing. Veredus is a leader in horse accessories and protective gear.

This acquisition further strengthens the premium positioning of the two brands, rooted in the values of quality, comfort, innovation, and design, creating a high-end reference group for safety and protection equipment in the equestrian world for riders and horses.

This merger will allow KEP and Veredus to combine their expertise to achieve strategic synergies, with the ultimate goal of expanding the group’s market presence and enhancing the group’s competitiveness. The merger will allow the two companies to share the resources and know-how needed to pursue new growth opportunities, supported by a cohesive brand DNA.

Together, KEP and Veredus will develop innovative products to meet the unique safety needs of equestrian enthusiasts in a distinctive and effective way.
